Biography
Voted "The Best Band in The Valley" in 2007-2008 by The Post Crescent readers poll, RPM is one of the top drawing regional cover bands in Wisconsin. For the past 19 years RPM has been performing festivals, clubs, private events and major concerts. Bringing their straight forward "have fun" attitude, RPM always gets the crowd going and "has fun" doing just that. Professional sound and lighting and a professional attitude also add to the reason that RPM is voted one of the best bands in the Fox Valley four years running and in the most recent poll voted number 1, beating out perennial winner Vic Ferrari and Boogie and The Yo Yoz who finished put the top three spots.
RPM originated in the town of Navarino Wisconsin in 1987. As young inexperienced musicians, they set out to a scene they knew little of, but found what it took to be successful in an area full of talented musicians. Their brand of party music was something people quickly became fond of and have been coming to see RPM for over 19 years.
With the current line-up of Joe Perz(lead guitar, vocals), Don Dix(rhythm guitar, vocals), John Groff III(keyboards, organ, trumpet, vocals), Mark Budwit(drums, vocals) Chris Okkerse(bass guitar, vocals) and Brad Pues(bass vocals) RPM performs a variety of music from country to rock, from U2 to Toby Keith and everything in between.
